Looking for a good solution to hold all of your lists and to-do's? Or maybe a cute way to display your child's artwork? How about turning an old cookie sheet into an adorable magnet board?
It's super easy! All you need is a cookie sheet, a bottle of spray paint, magnets, and crafting flowers.
Grab your spray paint and cookie sheet and go outside!
I used Krylon Raspberry spray paint. I had plans to do a version in an espresso shade for my kitchen, but the spray paint bottle was missing the nozzle. You'll just have to use your imagination!
I found cheap cookie sheets at Walmart for 92 cents each, but you could easily use an old one that you already have. Put your cookie sheet in a box or on some cardboard and spray it. You'll get the best finish if you do several thin layers.
Let it dry.
Meanwhile, make your magnets. You can use anything you'd like but we obviously prefer to use flowers! We found a few that coordinated well and attached magnets to the back.
Either attach the magnet directly to the back of a crafting flower, or attach it to the back of an alligator clip. I really wanted to use a marabou puff but they all have clips, so I gave it a shot! As it turns out, the alligator clips can also serve as a clip to hold extra papers.
And that's it! Just hang it up and you have your own custom magnet board!
